2017 Future Links Atlantic Championship

Qualifying Information

The NSGA has an allocation of 12 boys spots and 4 girls spots. The NSGA Junior Girls Provincial team (4 athletes) and NSGA Junior Boys Provincial team (6 athletes) have pre-qualified for the event.

Six additional eligible boys will qualify at the NSGA Cobra Puma Junior Championships at Ken-Wo Golf Club on July 10th to 13th. The NSGA will select the team based on gross scores for the tournament. Ties for the 6th qualifying spot will be broken by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following the conclusion of play.

Male amateur golfers, 11 to 18 years of age, who have not reached their 19th birthday by August 1, 2017 are eligible to qualify for these NSGA spots for the Future Links Atlantic Championship. These golfers must be in good standing with the NSGA and their member clubs.

Athletes will be responsible for entering the event and paying entry fees, travel, accommodations, as well as ancillary costs.

Players who do not qualify via this event may still apply to play in the Future Links Atlantic Championship as an individual. Golf Canada is accepting applications for this event until June 14th, 2017 at 5:00PM (EST). Interested athletes should apply as soon as possible.

If you have any questions regarding the qualifying process, please contact Andrew Noseworthy, NSGA Director of Sport Development, 902-468-8844.
