Golf Nova Scotia Set to Celebrate 100 Years of Women’s Amateur Golf at the 2025 Golf NS Women’s Provincial Championship
Halifax, NS – Golf Nova Scotia is proud to announce that the 2025 Golf NS Women’s Provincial Championship, featuring the Amateur, Mid-Amateur, and Senior divisions, will take place at River Oaks Golf Club from July 2–4, 2025, and will serve as a historic celebration marking the 100th playing of the Women’s Amateur Championship in Nova Scotia.
This momentous milestone honors a century of female champions, trailblazers, and contributors who have shaped the landscape of women’s golf across the province. The three-day championship at River Oaks will bring together Nova Scotia’s top female golfers to compete for provincial titles in an event steeped in tradition, competition, and community.
“We’re thrilled to bring this championship to River Oaks and to celebrate 100 years of the Women’s Amateur,” said Sara Wilson, Executive Director of Golf Nova Scotia. “This event not only showcases the incredible talent of today’s players, but also honors the legacy of those who paved the way for women in the sport.”
The 2025 Golf NS Women’s Provincial Championship will feature:
- Amateur Division
- Mid-Amateur Division
- Senior Division
