Another great championship complete for the 2026 season! A huge congratulations to all of the women who competed at the 2026 Women’s Amateur Championship at Chester Golf Club. The week brought plenty of challenges, with 30°C heat on the first two days followed by strong winds in the final round, but the players pushed through and made the most of every round.
From close competition across the divisions to an incredible hole-in-one by Michelle Turcotte, this championship had no shortage of memorable moments.

A huge thank you to General Manager Alex Egan, his staff, and all of the volunteers who played a vital role in making this championship a success. We would also like to recognize the Food & Beverage team, who kept everyone well-fed throughout the weekend with delicious chowder and lobster rolls.
A special thank you goes to Superintendent Matt Blackburn and his team for the tremendous work they put into preparing the course for this championship. Their dedication was evident, with the course in outstanding condition throughout the event.
