Barb Eaton and Gwen Merriam capture the  2018 NSGA Bronze Championship 

The Paragon Golf Club hosted the 2018 Women’s Bronze Championship today in Kingston, NS. The field competed in hot temperatures with the humidex reaching almost 40 degrees.
The Bronze is a net championship where competitors qualify through their home clubs. This annual championship requires competitors to have a 19.0 factor or greater at the time of qualifying. Clubs can field teams of up to five competitors and the lowest two net scores are combined to determine a team championship.
When the dust settled, the team of Barb Eaton and Gwen Merriam from the Paragon Golf Club finished atop the field. The team carded a net two under par 142. The home course team each carded a net 71 to win their first provincial championship.
Finishing one stroke behind the winners, was the team of Margot McDonald and Faun Millman from the Grandview Golf Club who finished with a net 143.
Pam Jenkins and Cathy McGinnis from Avon Valley finished in third place with a team net score of 145.
