NSGA Course Rating Webinar
Are you interested in volunteering in the golf industry?
Do you enjoy being outdoors and working with a team?
The NSGA is always seeking to develop new course raters for our rating team. If you are interested in taking part in the NSGA Course Rating Webinar with a view to becoming a course rater, please contact Anne Balser at 902-468-8844 or anne@nsga.ns.ca. This webinar is free to all NSGA Members.
Course raters are involved in:
- measuring golf courses
- evaluating obstacles and conditions that affect playing length
- computing a Course Rating and Slope Rating based on the measurements and evaluations
The webinars will start on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 running from 7:00pm-8:30pm and will continue for nine weeks that is until March 31, 2020.
The NSGA Course Rating teams travel throughout Nova Scotia during the golf season and rate member golf clubs (approximately 5-10 courses a year).
