NSGA COVID-19 Championship Protocol Update

The Nova Scotia Golf Association is compliant with all public health restrictions and guidelines put in place by the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the Nova Scotia Government.

For more information on the current protocols in place, please visit the NS Government COVID-19 information webpage.

For 2021 NSGA Provincial Championships, the NSGA Championships Committee and Board of Directors have put in place the following protocol:

The NSGA will assess each championship 2-3 weeks out of the championship (host club preference). Based on the protocols and restrictions in place at the time of assessment, the NSGA will determine whether or not they can facilitate a championship, ensuring the safety of our volunteers, competitors and staff is a priority.

At this time, if protocols permit events to take place, the NSGA will also assess event logistics (e.g. field size, split tees vs. straight tee times, etc.) Once the NSGA has finalized any decisions in regards to a championship, communication will first be sent out to host clubs and competitors. An official announcement will then be made public shortly after.

Please see below the assessment dates per championship.
