2020 NSGA CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE
 
The Nova Scotia Golf Association is pleased to announce the 2020 Championship Series. This years events will feature some of the finest amateur players in Nova Scotia, hosted at some of our province best courses.

 

The NSGA will also be introducing a new junior event in 2020: The Jaguar Land Rover Halifax Junior Two Ball Championship, hosted at the Paragon Golf Club on Saturday, May 31, 2020. The format for this championship will be a two person Junior Pinehurst competition. This event will launch the 2020 Championship season, and junior golf competitions in Nova Scotia. While this is a fun event it will also serve as an excellent introduction for our juniors into competitive golf.

 

Exemption registration will be open from 10am – Sunday, March 1, 2020 to 4pm – Tuesday, March 31, 2020. The NSGA offers exemptions for the following championships based on 2019 results:

Registration for ALL NSGA Championships will open at: 10:00am on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

To complete registration in 2020 you must have your Golf Canada Gold membership Number, which is a 10-digit number found on the top right corner of your membership account page.  Click here to login

2020 Team Funding

 

The NSGA will continue to support teams competing in the following seven National Championships:
Individuals designated to represent Nova Scotia will receive a subsidy to offset the cost of travel to the Nationals. The following monies will be allocated in 2020 for team members (3 persons per team):

 

Team members will be responsible for booking all team related travel such as flights, accommodations and ground transportation.

 

The alternate will receive an exemption for their respective team for each National Championship however there will be no financial subsidy provided.
