First Tee – Atlantic

First Tee is Golf Canada’s youth development program providing life-enhancing opportunities to children from equity-deserving communities through golf.

First Tee – Atlantic needs enthusiastic and caring individuals to serve as positive mentors and role models to children of various backgrounds. Coaches’ ability to develop impactful relationships with First Tee participants is the backbone of the program.

You do not have to be a golf pro or avid golfer, First Tee – Atlantic will provide all the training required! Built on research-proven methods of positive youth development, First Tee coach training provides individuals with the tools to make children feel safe, included and empowered.

First Tee School Program

Many elementary school students tee it up for the first time through the First Tee School Program. First Tee – Canada provides educators with training, curriculum, turnkey lesson plans, and equipment kits at no cost, to create a safe space for their students to learn the fundamentals of golf and its core values during physical education classes.

First Tee Community Program

Through the First Tee Community Program, youth leaders are supplied with training, curriculum, turnkey lesson plans, and equipment kits at no cost, to introduce children from the community to golf while building their character and confidence through fun and safe activities.

First Tee Facility Program

The First Tee Facility Program takes place on course and is currently offered to youth aged 7-16. This program integrates the game of golf with a life-skills curriculum to create learning experiences that help participants be the best version of themselves.

First Tee Facility Program coaches are certified through a set of safe sport requirements and training sessions, ensuring a safe and positive environment for the participants.
